Our Practice

 

NIALife Center for Counseling is a group of counselors, social workers, case managers and medical professionals who provide comprehensive mental health care to individuals and families ages 5 and up in a community setting or our private offices. We provide counseling, community support and education utilizing core principles. These principles are seen throughout our culture and all of our service delivery. We work with the client, their family, teachers, and support systems to ensure they achieve their life's goals.

Our NIATEAM
Ebony C. Christophe, LPC, MAPC -Founder/Clinical Director
​
Our clinical director and founder is licensed by the Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners to provide counseling to individuals and families. She is also a certified registered yoga instructor. Originally from New Orleans, LA, Ebony Christophe, LPC, RYT earned a master's degree in Professional Counseling at Argosy University School of Professional Psychology in Dallas, TX and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. She also holds a certification in Family and Divorce Mediation. Ebony Christophe specializes in children and family therapy. She also provides oversight and supervision to the NIALife treatment team.
Terry Dukes- West 
Program Director

Mrs. Dukes-West is our program director responsible for maintaining quality service delivery and care to all of NIALife Center for Counseling consumers while ensuring we meet and exceed the standards of our federal, state and local regulatory agencies. Originally from New Roads, LA, she holds over 14 years experience in social service and previously served as Human Resource Director for 12 years. 

Behavioral Health Specialist
​

The Behavioral Health Specialist is a bachelor's level case manager who provides psychosocial skills training, case management and community advocacy to individuals and families.

Licensed Mental Health Professional

​

Our licensed mental health professionals are licensed professional counselors, licensed marriage and family therapists, licensed clinical social workers and licensed psychologists. These individuals provide individual, family and group counseling, treatment planning, assessments and clinical supervision to all staff. 

Behavioral Health Professional
​
The Behavioral Health Professional is a master's level clinician who provides individual, family and group counseling.
